Kaweka
Hāpai Housing are pleased to share that Kaweka, one of our Build to Rent (BTR) developments in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland was awarded a Bronze in the DINZ Best Awards – Social Good category.
Kaweka is our second BTR development in Auckland and includes 44 units across 1- and 2-bedroom tenures. In partnership with Ka Uruora Aotearoa, Kaweka is providing affordable and rental homes for uri who whakapapa to our Hāpai investors. Market rental homes are also available.
Kaweka has been built to a Homestar-7 build rating, and our tenants enjoy the collective benefits of a communal BBQ area, pet wash station, vegetable gardens and solar panels – enabling centralised hot water and EV chargers. With excellent proximity to Mt Albert town centre, schools, and transport links - Kaweka is the perfect location for high quality urban living.
Named after the nearby Ōwairaka maunga, Kaweka represents the collective investment of our iwi and Māori partners who are enabling the advancement of mixed-tenure housing outcomes for whānau. The Hāpai Housing model is unique to Aotearoa.
