Sharp Tudhope

The Sharp Tudhope Building was the first office building in the Bay of Plenty to get a Green Star rating. The 2,300m2, 4-storey building on Devonport Rd boasts a unique ventilation system that recovers heat energy.

There are two levels of basement carparks, ground floor with retail and office and three levels of office accommodation above.

The building includes a range of environmentally sustainable features and has been awarded a 4.5 star Greenstar Building Design Certification. Energy is recovered simply and cost-effectively from the building's extracts, and re-used to heat and cool air for the building.

It has high-quality lighting grouped in efficient zones with occupancy sensors, and user guides to help occupants control heating and other services to ensure a comfortable environment.

The building's structure contains a high proportion of recycled steel.
